Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and myNutrical (“we”, “us”), the publisher of myNutrical. By downloading or using the myNutrical app or this website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.
What myNutrical is
myNutrical is a tool for general wellness. It helps you log food, water, weight and workouts, suggests a daily calorie target and macro split from the answers you give, and offers recipes and meal plans. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
Health disclaimer
myNutrical is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Calorie targets, macro splits and nutrition figures are estimates based on general formulas and the information you enter. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.
Please talk to a health professional before making big changes to what you eat or how you exercise, especially if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- are under 18 or over 65
- have, or have had, an eating disorder
- have diabetes, heart or kidney disease, or another medical condition
- take medicine that is affected by diet
Stop and get medical help if you feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. If tracking food starts to feel stressful or unhealthy, it’s fine to take a break and talk to someone you trust.
Who can use myNutrical
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age set by the law where you live, to use myNutrical. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms.
Nutrition information
Food details, barcode results, label readings, recipe nutrition and plan suggestions come from databases, estimates and what you type in. They can be incomplete or wrong, and products change their recipes.
Always check the product’s own label, especially for allergens. Don’t rely on myNutrical to manage a food allergy or intolerance.
Your data
What you enter in myNutrical belongs to you. It is stored on your device, so if you delete the app, reset it, or lose your phone without a backup, your data may be gone for good. Keeping backups is up to you.
Using the app fairly
When you use myNutrical, please don’t:
- copy, sell or redistribute the app or its content
- reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law allows it
- send automated requests to, overload, or try to break into the services the app uses
- use the app for anything unlawful
Our content and your licence
The app, this website, the myNutrical name and logo, and the text, designs and recipes in them belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Recipe photos come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences and are credited on our home page.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, as long as you follow these terms.
App Store and Google Play
If you download myNutrical from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store’s own terms also apply. Any paid features are bought through the store and covered by its payment and refund rules.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and they aren’t responsible for the app or its support. For App Store downloads, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
No guarantees
We work hard to make myNutrical useful and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it will help you reach a particular result. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for:
- indirect or unforeseeable losses
- decisions you make about your diet, exercise or health based on the app
- loss of data stored on your device
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Stopping use
You can stop using myNutrical at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access to online features if you seriously break these terms. The sections on health, nutrition information, our content and liability still apply after you stop.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We’ll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app first. If you keep using myNutrical after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where myNutrical is registered. If you live somewhere that gives consumers rights the law can’t take away, you keep those rights and can bring a claim in your local courts.
